At Layla’s Boutique, we want you to love your order. If something isn’t quite right, we offer a simple return process to make things easy.

Return Policy Summary

  • Item condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in their original condition, with all tags and packaging included.

Order Cancellation Period

  • Before dispatch: If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we will cancel it and issue a full refund.

  • After dispatch: Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you are welcome to return the items under our standard 30-day change-of-mind policy once they arrive.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Goods

We take great pride in our quality, but if something slips through the cracks, we want to fix it fast. Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy for major or minor failures.

  • What to do: If your item arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the fault.

  • Our remedy: We will assess the issue and offer a replacement, repair, or full refund depending on the severity of the fault.

  • Shipping costs: Layla’s Boutique will cover all return shipping costs for confirmed damaged or faulty items.

Return Shipping Costs (Change of Mind)

  • Change of mind: If you’re returning an item due to sizing, style preference, or any other personal reason, return shipping is your responsibility. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

How to Return

  1. Request a return: Contact us through our returns process, sharing your order details and the reason for the return.

  2. Pack your item: Pack your item safely in its original packaging, with all tags and any included accessories.

  3. Send it back: Ship the item back using the specific return instructions provided by our team after approval.

Refund Method & Timeline

  • Inspection: Once your return arrives at our warehouse, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return conditions.

  • Refund Method: Approved refunds will always be processed back to your original payment method (e.g., Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay). Due to security and anti-fraud policies, we cannot issue refunds to a different card or bank account.

  • Timeline: Refunds are usually processed within 7 business days of receiving your item. Please note that banks and payment providers may take additional time to clear the funds into your account.

Exchanges

Need a different size or colour? No worries! Once you contact us through our exchange process, we’ll help organise it quickly so you can get the perfect fit.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Please Note: For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as earrings, swimwear, and undergarments cannot be returned for a change of mind unless they are faulty. If an item is non-returnable, it will be clearly noted on the product page.
